Lyndall Bass

Nearly every American has seen Lyndall Bass' art, which has graced the reverse of more than 80 billion Lincoln Cents struck since 2010. An acclaimed painter, Bass created the "Union Shield" design that was selected after the cent celebrated the 200th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln.
