Other NGC-certified coins and medals from across Europe are also available in a pair of early October auctions.

More than 150 European rarities that are certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) are being offered in a pair of sales presented by highly respected German auction house Künker. Online bidding is already underway for Künker's Auction 427, which concludes on October 7, 2025. Bidding is also underway for Künker's Auction 428, which concludes October 8-9, 2025.

The top NGC-certified highlight of the auction is a Germany 1763 Paderborn 12 Ducats graded NGC MS 61 and pedigreed to the Wolff-Metternich Collection (Auction 427, lot 729), with an estimate of €125,000 (about $147,000). The German rarity features the bust of Wilhelm Anton von der Asseburg, who was named Prince-Bishop of Paderborn in 1763 and was a member of the Westphalian noble family of Asseburg. According to the auction house, this is likely the only example of its type that is available for private ownership, making it extremely rare, and it is also the sole specimen of its kind in the NGC Census.
