UPDATED: NGC Grading On-Site in India for the First Time in April 2020

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) is pleased to announce that it will conduct on-site grading in Mumbai, India, in April 2020. This is the first time that NGC, a leading third-party grading service for coins, tokens and medals, has offered on-site grading in India.

The NGC India on-site grading event will be held April 20-26, 2020 during the annual S. M. Shukla Day Memorial Coin Fair. Submissions must be received by an Official Submission Center or Authorized Dealer in India by Saturday, March 28, 2020. See details below.

British India coins from 1835 to 1947 and modern India coins are eligible for this event. There are no additional fees for the on-site grading.

Founded in 1987, NGC provides an accurate, consistent and impartial assessment of a coin’s authenticity and grade. After a coin is graded, it is encapsulated in NGC’s secure, tamper-evident holder with a label that features the coin’s description, NGC grade and unique NGC certification number.

Every coin that NGC certifies is backed by the comprehensive NGC Guarantee of authenticity and grade, which gives buyers greater confidence. This results in higher prices realized and greater liquidity for NGC-certified coins.

All submissions to the April 2020 NGC India on-site grading event should be made to an NGC Official Submission Center or Authorized Dealer in India. Submissions must be received by an Official Submission Center or Authorized Dealer by Saturday, March 28, 2020.
